The NCE Comeback Group is for counseling graduates who are tired of studying harder instead of studying smarter. This is not another passive review course filled with endless lectures and information overload. This weekly group focuses on helping you truly understand the material, apply concepts confidently, and learn the way the NCE actually tests you. Through interactive teaching, application-based learning, memory strategies, test-taking techniques, and simplified breakdowns of difficult concepts, students gain the confidence and clarity needed to succeed.
Designed primarily for those preparing for a comeback after an unsuccessful attempt, this group is built to help reduce overwhelm, improve retention, and strengthen clinical reasoning.
Inside the bootcamp, students will:
• Master major counseling theories and interventions
• Learn how to approach difficult NCE questions strategically
• Improve recall and retention through engaging learning methods
• Strengthen understanding of diagnosis, ethics, assessment, and core content areas • Build confidence while reducing test anxiety and self-doubt
This experience is designed to be high-energy, supportive, and practical — because passing the NCE requires more than memorization alone. It requires learning differently.
